Here are some outside decorations and set-up ideas

2. Nice lighting. I can get these paper lanterns pretty cheaply. To hand for the trees. We could also hang string across the yard, and then hang these off the strings. need extension cords for the power, I imagine. (also, don't the asparagus centerpieces look great too??)

tapas platters - cesar

This looks delicious! Tapas platters from Cesar, a tapas place in Berkeley. Minimum order of $250. For a refundable deposit, you can get the platters served on the ceramic platters in the last photo.

Check the site for prices and TONS of options. Might be too pricey (about $95 per platter), but good ideas for some DIY with meat and cheese plates.
